For Our Political Prisoners

Compañeras, compañeros, more than a year after the brutal repression against the people of San Salvador Atenco and The Other Campaign, and with still 25 comrades that are secuestered by the federal and state of Mexico government, the friends and relatives of the Political Prisoners in the case of Atenco, we make this urgent call to economically support the costs that have arisen from the legal process that the Mexican Political System continues to have against them.

The political and economic powers want to give us a lesson, a warning:
if you think, if you organize, if you fight, if you act in solidarity, if you define yourselves as human beings, we will beat you, we will humiliate you, we will kill you. This is the message that they send,
that is what they want us to understand, they hope that we will stop, that we will forget and we will no longer struggle for a better world.

We understand that the struggle for the freedom of Political Prisoners is only one of the paths that must be walked in order for Democracy, Freedom and Justice to become a reality in Mexico; we do not know nor can we say that it is the most important or the most urgent. What we do know is that today, now, we once again need your support, comrade, in order to be able to pay for part of the legal process in which we find ourselves, since of the more than 60 books that make up the files
of this cases, we have only been able to obtain 40, as the cost of each of these copies is very high, and well, among them all of the costs of this painful process, our funds are finished. Comrade, thanks
